Lubricant Oil

Commonly used in engines, gearboxes, and machinery, oil lubricants reduce friction and wear. They can be mineral-based, synthetic, or semi-synthetic, with synthetic oils offering better performance in extreme conditions. 

These are thin lubricants designed to loosen stuck or rusted parts. They penetrate tight spaces, making them useful for applications like loosening bolts and fasteners. 

A thicker lubricant made from oil mixed with a thickening agent (usually soap), grease is used for applications requiring longer-lasting lubrication, such as bearings, joints, and heavy machinery. 

Made from materials like graphite or PTFE (Teflon), dry lubricants reduce friction without using oils or greases. They are ideal for high-temperature environments or places where oils may attract dirt.
